Junior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Product Development team in Vancouver!

As a software engineer at Collabware, you will be focused on developing high-quality, high-performance, scalable code for our next generation products. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for learning and can demonstrate an eagerness to dive-in and get started.

Responsibilities

  • Write, modify, extend, and debug software
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with all stakeholders from product managers, architects, developers and testers
  • Contribute to evolving our internal development frameworks and design patterns
  • Stay informed of advances in development techniques, technologies and methods; and adapt to a rapidly evolving industry space

Key Skills

  • C# .NET, REST, JSON
  • Azure, Web API 2.0

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineer, or related software technology field, or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of one year software development experience

Junior Software Tester

We are looking for a Junior Software Tester to join our Product Development team in Vancouver!

As a software tester at Collabware, you will begin by learning our products inside and out. Your strong verbal and written communication skills will be used to create test cases for our products and to report on overall test progress. Being a quick learner and self-starter will aid you in manually testing our software.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain test cases
  • Manually test our software products
  • Track bugs found and record detailed information to reproduce issues
  • Participate in test planning

Key Skills

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of testing practices and methodologies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint an asset

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineer, or related software technology field, or equivalent education and experience
  • One year’s experience in manual testing and writing test cases
